This is a very good books series for any readers with an imagination and a love for made-up worlds. The characterization is very good, you get a feel for exactly what each character is thinking. The point of view can shift very fast, usually every new chapter is from the view of one of the main characters. This fantasy series has everything a reader could want along with a few very strong real-world ties that keep the reader interested. I would recommend these books to anyone who don't mind a little graphicness here and there. There are 17 books of about 400-600 pages in each and each end ties beautifully into the next beginning.
